BJJ Decoded - Fundamentals

In this video Vânderson explains the fundamental training categories of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This is a great tool for all beginners to understand the basic positions and what options are available. With this knowledge you can train with more confidence. This first video focuses on training in the GI, but many of the principles apply to NO GI also.

Beginners

Fundamental Training for White Belts and Blue Belts (all tabs).

No Gi

Regular classes suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Gi

Regular classes suitable for all belts, including beginners.

Kids

You are welcome to come along and try a first class at no cost.

Please bring a pair of jandals to wear off the mat. No footwear is allowed on the mat. Please bring a water/drink bottle for your child.

A Gi (uniform) is not necessary for starting out but you will need one for grading. Gi’s can be purchased from Fuji Mae in Brooklyn.
